I am a normal ( in the loosest possible term) Dad from the North East of England. I have a few interests such as BTCC Touring Cars, Football, photography. My favourite hobby though is to just relax and chill out. I suffer from stress, depression and anxiety and possible PTSD. I am coming to terms with it these days where its not something I need to hide from people or be ashamed of. I also suffer from chronic back problems and live each day in pain in varying degrees. I am the sort of person that wants good for other people and always tries to help if I can. I can be really soft natured and sensitive, which sometimes surprises people when they meet me.

This weekend

Hi everyone

Just to let you know, I’m away this weekend so any vlogs I do will be from my iPhone and only if I have coverage.

See you on my return

A lovely windy and sandy day

Today was a day I have been looking forward to for the last week, maybes longer. It was the day that we, as a family went for a drive to Whitley Bay. Not much new there but this time it was to vlog about my childhood area. Well some of it anyway.
Recently, as some of you will already know, things have been hard, what with my brother being terminally ill in hospital. Today was a day to take time out and chill. Even though I still couldn’t stop thinking about my brother lying there in his hospital bed, I still tried to enjoy myself. I found myself, occasionally ‘zoning’ out, which didn’t go unnoticed by Denise, my better half.
Anyway, this little excursion out was nice. It was sunny, but at the same time very windy. My flip cam microphone has picked it up. You can here more of the wind than my voice. I tried public vlogging. It was too busy but still a little nerve wracking.
When we got to Tynemouth for the coffee I had promised at Crusoes, which is literally on the beach, we were sat outside and got sand blasted by the clouds of sand blowing along the beach. The thing about this cafe is, no matter what the weather or time of year, it is always very very busy and seats are a premium. Still, we love sitting outside watch people on the beach with their dogs, and surfers etc. All nice relaxing fun.
So despite the weather, it was a nice afternoon.
Now for a bath to try and getthe sand out of all the nooks and crannies lol.
